New in 2009, this two-bedroom villa has a superb layout including a fully equipped kitchen, an open living and dining area, a large pool deck, alfresco dining areas and two identical bedroom suites separated by a fabulous Great Room with a soaring 18 ft ceiling. Each bedroom suite has a king bed, its own balcony and private bathroom with an outdoor shower offering views of the tranquil ocean below. Blackbeard’s inviting ambiance, romantic appeal and simple design make this lovely cliffside vacation home very desirable.

From the impressive 18ft high vaulted ceiling in the Great Room to the simply stunning panoramic ocean vistas, from the elegant bedroom suites with alfresco showers to the upscale kitchen in the open plan Great Room, Blackbeard’s Hideaway is absolutely exquisite. The location is pretty perfect – secluded on Steele Point Peninsular but just a few minutes’ drive to the nearest beaches, local restaurants and stores. Blackbeard’s Hideaway is an outstanding villa ideally suited for a honeymoon, two couples or a small family. This impeccable property is definitely one of the best vacation villas on Tortola. Highly recommended!

Our trip was wonderful! Blackbeard’s was more than we could have imagined. Perfect for two couples. Every time I walked in the front door I just couldn’t believe that was the view. Couldn’t get enough of it! I would rate the villa 10/10, I would go back in a heartbeat. The views from Blackbeard’s cannot be compared by any other view on the Island. The villa was top notch.

The villa manager was wonderful and very attentive. The booking process with Best of BVI was wonderful. Easy and efficient! Trudi is such a thorough and detailed person to work with.

BH was very nice, based on other villas we have stayed at on Tortola we would give it 8 out of 10. The villa was attractive, comfortable and clean. The facilities were very nice, we would recommend a safe in one of the bedrooms. The housekeeper was very attentive. The villa met our expectations and we would recommend it to others.

We have been traveling to Tortola several times over the past few years, and appreciate Trudi’s knowledge of the islands, properties, and overall professionalism. We look forward to planning each trip, and feel comfortable that in working with Trudi, we are confident in what to expect.

Couldn’t have been better! All questions were answered immediately, and this made choosing a villa much easier. We are so happy we used Best of BVI! We could not be happier with the level of service, the villa, and the timely and always courteous response to our questions. Simply gorgeous! Comfortable beds, beautiful furnishings, and wonderful pool. Loved the outdoor showers and travertine floors! The only issues were lack of hot water in one bathroom sink, and a very sticky freezer door, making access to the freezer difficult. The grounds and pool are beautiful! Did the villa meet our expectations? Above and beyond! We’d recommend the villa to others without hesitation! The villa and view were simply incredible and we had a wonderful time. The information provided on the website was extensive and so helpful. Trudi is wonderful and always available to help. Can’t wait to use Best of BVI again! Booking the flights was a bit “bumpy” this time. Thank you for helping us. Blackbeard’s Hideaway was excellent in every way, it was even better than expected, we’d definitely recommend it to others. I would not know what to say. I had a great time there and hope to do that again. The perfect location, the perfect lodging, almost the perfect weather. And I usually do not get euphoric easily. We had a wonderful time on Tortola. The house is a dream and we definitely will have to repeat this.
