High up hillside above the mile-long beach at Long Bay on Tortola’s beautiful north-west coast, Papaya Villa is a luxurious and comfortable 4-bedroom villa with impressive panoramic ocean views. The villa is located in a tranquil setting surrounded by magnificent tropical gardens. Relax in loungers around the villa’s heated infinity pool, which has a swim current machine for swimming laps or just for fun! A lot of thought has gone into providing numerous areas for relaxing both inside and outside the property – poolside loungers plus comfortable sofas and chairs under the covered terrace. In addition, guests are spoilt with dining area options either formal indoor/outdoor, alfresco dining under the shade and patio table and chairs for morning coffee and pastries.
The Great House features Papaya’s living room, which has multiple doors opening providing cooling breezes and wonderful ocean views. To the rear is the gourmet galley kitchen offering a wide range of professional appliances. A half-bathroom is conveniently located to the rear of the pool.
Accommodation is well spaced out over four pavilions providing excellent privacy for all guests in four luxury air-conditioned bedrooms all with modern ensuite facilities. Far west of the grounds is Vine Cottage housing the inviting and very private master bedroom suite with romantic 4-poster king-size bed and private verandah. A convenient kitchenette, large bathroom with double sinks as well as both indoor and outdoor showers completes this suite. Accessed by steps leading up from behind the pool deck, two further bedroom suites, both of equal size, overlook the infinity pool and ocean views beyond. Conveniently located next to each other, one bedroom can be made up as a king or twins so a good choice for families with children. The second bedroom has a king-size 4-poster bed, and an outdoor shower in the en suite bathroom. The fourth bedroom, which has two twin beds, is accessed by steps leading down adjacent to the villa’s courtyard. This suite has an ensuite bathroom with rainfall shower and a convenient kitchenette.
