Patois is located in a highly desirable residential area, Belmont Estate, located far west on Tortola in the BVI. Set within 1.5 acres and surrounded by landscaped gardens, this delightful villa is within walking distance (or a short drive) to two lovely beaches – Long Bay and Smuggler’s Cove – as well as a number of restaurants, marina and stores, all being no more than 10 mins’ drive away at nearby Soper’s Hole. A good range of restaurants are also dotted along the north-west coast, between only 5-15 mins drive away.
The villa consists of three pavilions: the two-storey main pavilion houses an extremely well-equipped kitchen conveniently linking to the covered open dining area, which is adjacent to the attractive living area. On the far side of the living room is a covered side patio with deep cushioned seating, the perfect spot to relax taking in the wonderful views of the ocean and outlying islands of Jost Van Dyke amongst others. Patois is also well positioned to view glorious sunsets.
The pool is of a good size, furnished with poolside loungers and to the rear is a built-in bar and a BBQ area. A poolside dining table is perfect for al fresco dining under the stars. In addition, to the far west of the property, is an oasis of calm with comfortable seating under large sails providing shade from the midday sun.
This elegant villa offers four attractive light and airy bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, accommodating up to 8 adults + 1 child. In the east pavilion are two bedroom suites, one above the other. The upper bedroom is a 4-poster king and the lower is a 4-poster queen. Both of these bedrooms have full bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers as well as comfortable seating on their private balconies. The master king bedroom with 4-poster bed is in a separate pavilion overlooking the pool. This spacious suite has his and hers bathrooms, one with a tub and the other with an indoor shower; these bathrooms share an outdoor shower. Exterior steps from the side of the living pavilion leads down to the fourth bedroom, a spacious en suite king suite, with an adjoining oversized twin, suitable for a child.
