Top notch. Everything was in good working order and very comfortable.

Is there anything you would recommend be added or removed from the property?
Internet service could be expanded, main house and deck areas were fine but the guest house had spotty wifi. Maybe a range extender would help?

How would you rate the services of the owner/on-island manager?
Katie was wonderful and very helpful. She waited for us during our delay at the customs dock, gave us a tour and answered all questions completely.

How would you rate the services of the housekeeper/maid?
Ella and Carol did a fabulous job, the house was immaculate and they are very nice. They also went out of their way to help with the espresso coffee maker and more coffee.

How would you rate the services of the gardener/pool attendant?
Carl the groundskeeper has done an excellent job with the landscaping, the flowers are beautiful and the grounds immaculate. He shared some produce with us and was so nice to identify the many unfamiliar flowers and plants.
The pool was clean and comfortable.

How would you rate the chef services, if applicable?
We had a chef the first night, recommended by Katie, and she did a wonderful job.

Did the villa/inn meet your expectations?
Villa Ariana was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Yes, absolutely. And we are planning on coming to stay again.

We were very thorough with our questions and all the answers we received were helpful, there were no unpleasant surprises.

We are a family of 8 including two children ages 8 and 10. We spent a glorious week at Villa Ariana, introducing our children to Tortola, an island we love. The villa surpassed our expectations, providing separate living quarters and lots of family “together” space. We spent numerous hours in the pool where our grandsons actually learned to swim. The fact that the villa is in walking distance to the beach made it easy for family members to engage in pool or beach activities in small groups. A bonus was the well-equipped cabinet with snorkeling equipment for the whole family. We loved snorkeling at Smuggler’s Cove and eating hot dogs and the occasional drink at Nigel’s beach bar. We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary exactly how we had planned because Trudi King took care of the details. We always love working with Trudi who makes sure our stay in the BVI is wonderful. Thanks Trudi!

I would like to thank you (once again!!) for all your help and advice during these past months. I would recommend you and your services unequivocally. You were so very thorough in every part of the process. From the very beginning when you asked me about my wants, needs, dates of travel and preferences. Your suggestion of Villa Ariana was “spot on” as it met all of my requirements for our family’s vacation. Once I put down the deposit, you continued giving me fantastic service and attention. Traveling as an intergenerational family of nine is not for the weak of heart. If things go wrong, it has a snowballing effect that can potentially ruin a vacation. So your services and advice helped tremendously in more ways than one and I am grateful to have found you!

As you promised, the walk from Villa Ariana to Smuggler’s Cove was a pleasant one taking only 10-15 minutes or so (even walking hand-in-hand with a 3 year old snail). It was great to have the option of walking so that the 9 of us didn’t have to travel “en masse” which is usually a problem. And Smuggler’s Cove beach is very beautiful and not crowded.

Villa Ariana is every bit as beautiful as the photos portray it. What the photos don’t capture is the “spirit” of the place. The owner has truly put her heart into this villa and it comes through. The detail, care and love that were infused into its design and construction were apparent to me from the moment I entered her home. It is not a “house”, it is a home.

As I already mentioned, the house was beautiful and the furnishings, pool, grounds and overall condition of everything else beyond reproach.

Villa Ariana was lovely! One of the prettiest homes we have rented out of the country. It’s a high end luxury home and was presented nicely upon arrival. However, additional housekeeping services would have been nice throughout the week. Our on-island manager tended to our needs in a timely manner. The grounds were well kept and quite lovely and the infinity pool was very refreshing and equally lovely! The villa absolutely met our expectations and it would be a pleasure to recommend to others.

We are home now!! Happiness passes too fast! We love villa Ariana very much. We had a wonderful time there. The view is like a painting!! So beautiful!!

The first time you go out onto the terrace and see the glorious expanse of blues and azures of the water and Jost Van Dyke rising from that sea it is beyond beauty! Your mind expands to take in something that goes beyond its ability to perceive! And it changes as the lighting changes! Each nuance of lighting produces a different emotion! Entirely new emotions are created and the deep satisfactions that go with them! Even after a rainstorm the monochromatic grays provide a perfect background for the white sails!
