Bayhouse features 3 bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms, and numerous indoor and outdoor communal spaces. The bedrooms and the communal spaces are housed in two separate buildings that are connected by a covered outdoor dining terrace. This design has numerous benefits. The villa’s bedrooms and their secluded porches offer guests plenty of privacy. Conversely, the open floor plan in the villa’s communal areas provides guests with great spaces for social interaction.
The villa’s air-conditioned bedrooms each feature a bathroom and a covered porch. At night, with the windows open, you will be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves hitting the beach in front of the house.
The master bedroom is on the ground floor of the bedroom pavilion and has a king-sized bed. The second bedroom, also on the ground floor, has a king-sized bed. The third bedroom is up one flight of stairs; this bedroom has a queen-sized mattress and a very comfortable hammock on the porch outside your bedroom door.
Bayhouse’s communal areas include the living room, a ½ bath, a kitchen, and a dining room. The living room features a collapsible wall of glass doors that open to reveal a large covered terrace. From this comfy spot you can enjoy unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea and the villa’s tropical landscaping. Below this terrace there is a swimming pool, a large pool deck, a reflecting pool, an outdoor shower, and expansive gardens.
Bayhouse features high-end appliances, modern furnishings and fixtures, and lush tropical landscaping. The house is in an exclusive residential neighborhood in the Valley, Virgin Gorda and is ideally located only a 5 minutes’ drive from a dozen restaurants, the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour, a number of grocery stores, and six world-class beaches including The Baths, Spring Bay, and Little Trunk Bay. This house is the perfect setting for enjoying the very best of Virgin Gorda.
There are two private access paths to the beach at Crooks Bay, which is excellent for a stroll and beachcombing. Please note: the sea may be a little rough for swimming so we ask guests to use their judgement – the sea is generally calmer in summer months. It’s possible to stroll along the coast towards Coppermine for swimming in a more protected area. The amazing beaches at Spring Bay and Little Trunk Bay are only 5 mins’ drive away.
