We rented Beachcomer for a 10 day family reunion/vacation. everything was great. The beach was fantastic. The snorkeling off the beach was terrific – saw lots of sea life and beautiful coral. Villa was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We have rented many villas for this annual family vacation/reunion over the last 30+ years. This one was the best yet. we recommend it highly.

 I want you to know that Heather was AMAZING during our stay!! She met us at the dock when we arrived, got our luggage taken care of, and was there when we left. In between that, she responded promptly to every phone call and every request! She is also a very joyful person and quite personable. That was huge for us! True concierge service! We did not experience anything close to Heather on other islands and at very nice villas. Our housekeeping staff and the daily service was much appreciated! Everyone we came in contact with on the island was so friendly and helpful too. Beachcomber and Virgin Gorda are Perfection! Many thanks again!

Just returned from a fantastic vacation at ‘Beachcomber’ in Virgin Gorda. Located right on the secluded beach of Mahoe Bay and surrounded by perfectly manicured tropical gardens. You can step off the balcony onto the beach and be snorkeling on the immaculate reef in front of the house in a matter of moments. And when we say a secluded beach… we saw one other person the whole time we were there! When you need a break from the beach there is a shaded pavilion, a stunning large hammock and beautiful pool to enjoy.

The villa has perfectly planned common spaces, large comfortable bedrooms and shady or sunny nooks to relax, so even our large party could all find their perfect spot without feeling on top of each other. The owner has really thought of everything, with all the amenities you could possibly need. Two coffee machines, top of the line appliances, a huge collection of board games, a large BBQ, water toys – more than enough to keep everyone happy and entertained.

The booking process couldn’t have been easier, with Best of BVI. Trudi gave us all the information we needed, helpful suggestions and walked us though every step of the way. Heather, the property manager, was there to meet us when we arrived and spent the time to walk us through the property and answer all our questions. Heather continued to be in contact and was so helpful throughout our entire stay. We couldn’t recommend ‘Beachcomber’ more.  All of our party had an amazing and relaxing time. You won’t want to leave!

I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful two weeks at beachcomber. It is a vacation that our family will not soon forget. My mother, her sister and brother haven’t spent that kind of time together in over 60 years. I would really like to get word to the owner to thank him for the use of the beach wheel chair. It allowed us to get my mother out to the beach and into the ocean, which meant so much to her, and only added to the special nature of our trip. We appreciate that he shares Beachcomber, my mother puts pictures on her tv of the view over the beautiful landscaping and of Maho Bay, as well as keeping pictures on her iPad to continuously scroll through. We also can’t thank Heather, David, and the rest of the staff at Maho enough. They are pleasant, helpful, and help make our stays so wonderful. Beachcomber has exceeded our expectations every stay, the housekeeper is always so very pleasant.

Beachcomber was absolutely the best!! Very clean with all the things we needed! It had a GREAT and well equipped kitchen! It was a wonderful vacation and I absolutely love bringing friends and sharing this wonderful place with them. We could not have been more pleased with Heather and everyone involved in making our vacation so wonderful – especially Island Time water Taxi! We appreciate you so much and will be planning again soon!!!

Trudi was amazing as always helping us navigate the new normal with the Covid restrictions and testing. It was nice to have her in our corner answering all of our questions! 

Beachcomber is truly a beautiful villa. Plenty of room to spread out and very comfortable. The kitchen and dining area are fully equipped and it was great to have 2 coffee makers (since some in our party can only drink decaf). The air conditioned bedrooms were wonderful at night and the many fans in the main areas kept the day time heat very manageable. The grounds are beautifully kept and one of our favourite spots was sitting in the cabana by the beach. Great place for evening cocktails.

We started travelling to the BVI in 2005 and have stayed at Beachcomber several times. The facilities are excellent as are the services of the villa manager. Service and quality of provisioning provided was excellent also.

Trudi (Best of BVI) was extremely helpful, especially given the very unique and challenging travel circumstances this year (2021). I’m not sure how I would have navigated the entire process without Trudi’s assistance.

Beachcomber Villa on Mahoe Bay was one of the most beautiful we have ever stayed at. It was spacious, beautifully furnished and well appointed. Beds were comfortable, rooms were spacious. Loved the kitchen and its appliances and dinnerware were high end. We spent most of our time out on the porch – comfortable for eating as well as lounging. The beach! Amazing. The water is crystal clear with a beautiful sandy bottom. A short swim brings you to amazing snorkeling. The gazebo was perfect for getting out of the sun or occasional showers. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our vacation was here at Mahoe Bay. We have been going to Tortola for the past 15 years and thought we would try Virgin Gorda. The restaurants were great. We loved Sugarcane and Coco Maya. I highly recommend this villa and working with Trudi King. We give Beachcomber 5 stars plus. It was the most beautiful and well appointed villa we have ever stayed at. We had never seen such beautiful landscaping and gardens. It more than met our expectations. The villa looked better in person than in the photos.

I’ve been working with Trudi King for over 10 years and she is the ultimate professional. She is so knowledgeable about every villa we have ever inquired about. She knows what we like and has always been great at matching our needs to the villa she recommends. All questions were answered.

Beachcomber is a slice of heaven on earth. It is like being on another “happy” planet where nothing disturbs your peace of mind. In three weeks there we only filled up the car on arrival. You just don’t want to leave or go somewhere else. We just went grocery shopping and else enjoyed the beach and the view. The reef looks amazing again and there are turtles around constantly. The pelicans put a smile on your face every morning when they make their approach to Mahoe Bay. The hammock is located perfectly to overlook that little perfect world. Days definitely are too short there.

Beachcomber was beautiful, exceeded our expectations, the villa was clean and comfortable and the facilities were excellent. We would recommend the villa to others. The manager was excellent and the maid was good. We were very satisfied with Best of BVI, the booking process was excellent.
