Ridgemont is a beautifully presented vacation villa with some of the best ocean views from any rental home in the BVI. This impressive property is located high up hillside above the mile-long, white-sand beach at Long Bay on Tortola’s north-west coast. Newly renovated throughout, Ridgemont offers spacious and luxurious accommodation for up to 10 guests in five air-conditioned bedroom suites – an excellent choice for couples and large families.
The villa comprises of two separate pavilions positioned either side of the inviting private pool. To the east, the L-shaped pavilion houses the living room with expansive French doors opening on three sides to a wraparound verandah and incredible ocean views beyond. This relaxing room has a dramatic cathedral ceiling and is furnished with comfortable sofas around the entertainment area and a glass top table for indoor dining. The large kitchen is extremely well-equipped with all the appliances you would expect of a villa of this caliber.
Accessed from steps in front of the main pavilion is a lower level bedroom with a romantic 4-poster bed and ensuite bathroom with large shower; this suite benefits from a full kitchen. To the rear of the deck a convenient full bathroom with shower is located on the lower floor with two bedroom suites on the upper floor – one king and one twins (which can be made up as a king with advance notice). Both bedrooms have ensuite facilities with roomy showers. Two further bedroom suites, one above the other, are housed in the separate pavilion on the far side of the expansive pool providing excellent privacy for all. Both have ensuite facilities with the upper bathroom also having a bathtub. Both bedrooms enjoy ocean views from their private verandahs.
There is an abundance of outdoor space at Ridgemont – this area is furnished with relaxing sofas and numerous loungers and a large table, which can seat 10 guests for alfresco dining. Views of the ever-changing ocean, outlying islands of Jost van Dyke and Sandy Spit amongst others, as well as the lush green hills can be enjoyed from all corners of this elegant villa. An unexpected surprise of magnificent views of the south side of the island greets you from the gazebo located high above the villa, a perfect oasis to relax or sip cocktails as the sun goes down on yet another fabulous day in the British Virgin Islands.
