Somoya is an outstanding vacation villa built in an elevated positioned benefitting from incredible far-reaching views of the ocean and many of the British Virgin Islands dotted in the Caribbean Sea. Nestled amongst massive granite boulders found in this area of Virgin Gorda, Somoya offers excellent quality and spacious accommodation up to a maximum of 8 guests.
The villa is built over two pavilions and furnished to a high level throughout. In one pavilion on the lower level is the living room with comfortable seating (the sofa can be made up as a bed for 7th & 8th guests) and adjacent is the extremely well-equipped kitchen with stainless appliances – a cook’s delight who will love preparing meals while being captivated by the far-reaching ocean views through the large opening between the kitchen and the covered terrace.
Steps to the side of the living room lead up to the gorgeous master bedroom with dark wood, 4-poster king bed. Patio doors open to the bedroom’s private balcony with inviting rocking chairs – where better to sit, relax and soak up the magnificent sunsets, which Somoya is well positioned to view. The en suite bathroom features a large walk-in circular shower, double sinks and separate WC.
Two further bedrooms are accessed from the terrace through large sliding patio doors. One of the bedrooms has 2 queen beds and also has an en suite with large circular shower and separate WC. In a separate pavilion, a spacious 4-poster king bed with romantic drapes has an en suite with a private oversized outdoor shower and separate WC. All three bedrooms are air conditioned and offer good storage.
Somoya is surrounded by well-tendered gardens with palms and tropical planting and features an expansive deck and covered terrace, which spans the width of the villa – an area where you will spend much of your time at Somoya mesmerized by the views and relaxing in comfortable deep-cushioned sofa and armchairs. The terrace also features an impressive oval dining table for al fresco dining, inbuilt BBQ and fridge, teak loungers and overhead fans.
